Stef has been in contact and we discovered they were using the wrong field to collect registration numbers.

If you want to collect the places required use the ‘Places’ field not the ‘Number’ field. The first is connected to all sorts of complicated calculators and adjusters, the second is just a plain text field (people use it for ages or number packed lunches or whatever).
