number listing

just for you, I released a new feature in 1.7.1 (uploaded a short while ago), so now you can use numbers="before" or numbers="after" depending on whether you want the numbers before the main alphabet or after it:

[a-z-listing taxonomy="brands" display="terms" numbers="after"]

I update the shortcode [a-z-listing taxonomy="brands" display="terms" numbers="after"] and doesn’t show any number.

Oh dear, I broke the shortcode. A fix is incoming right now. I can only apologise and get the fix up asap :-/

Still am not getting the numbs list!

Any idea why??

Are you getting the listing just without numbers or are you not getting the listing at all? Are there any errors listed in your web server’s error log file from around the time that you request the page which contains the shortcode? (If you are using a web hosting service then your host’s control panel should provide a logs facility to view or download the error log)

As a debugging test could you try numbers="before" to see if the numbers are broken entirely on your site or just the after variant.

When i use just the [a-z-listing numbers="after"] the numbers are show up.

When i use the [a-z-listing taxonomy="pwb-brand" display="terms" numbers="after"] the numbers are not show up. I use for brands this plugin

Thanks for the followup, the extra diagnostics you did to narrow down the problem really helped me see the issue. I’ll try to get a fixed version out for you sometime tomorrow (Sunday).

This got wrapped-up in another issue which is taking me longer than I had hoped. I’m still working to get this fixed for you ASAP, however.
