Number format comma not reflected in shown value

The number format is set to 9,999.99, but the shown value gives me numbers without the comma in front of the last 3 zeros, eg. 100000 instead of 100,000 like the format suggests.

Also, it would be nice to be able to hide the decimal and zeros after it (just display whole dollar amounts), when using a currency.
