Hi, I really need to be able to enter a decimal value into a number field.

Currently the field is set to allow decimals to 2 places … but it does not accept a decimal value and simply rounds to an integer.

I saw another similar post, now closed, that said yes this is a good idea but no action seems to have been taken. Surely this is pretty basic and essential? Esp as I need to use the decimal value in a calculation.

The work around to use a currency field works but I really don’t want the currency symbol as this is a length measurement. I’d also rather not have to use css to try and remove it as that complicates things and makes handing over to others more problematic. Maybe add a Currency of None to the selection list so that nothing is then displayed in the field?

    Thanks
    Alan

    Hi @alanjacobs,

I hope you are doing well today!

We have a bug on Forminator 1.17.2 for decimal places in Number fields. Our developers are aware of the issue and it will be fixed as soon as possible.

For now you can try the following workaround, change decimal to 1 place and it will work, then change it to 2 places again, it will still be working.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer
