nrelate conflicts with nextgen gallery

I love the plugin but I have discovered a conflict with the NextGen Gallery plugin when viewing on Firefox for the Mac. At first the thumbnails display correctly but after a few seconds the formatting vanishes and the thumbnails are stacked in a column. Please advise if there is any fix for this.
