    I use WordPress Social Login which also provides social logins for my site sign-up and site login, as well as for my theme’s native commenting.

    I find that Postmatic Social Commenting also provides the social logins but only for commenting and not for the login or sign-up pages.

    I would like to use Postmatic Social Commenting logins for both and get rid of WordPress Social Login.

    Any chance this might happen in a future release?

    As far as I’m aware, the Postmatic team wants this strictly for comments.

    I am disappointed but not surprised.

    Now if I can only get WordPress Social Login not to appear in the comments section…

    I understand your frustration and disappointment.

    Would be nice to have both, but the code is strictly for comments and no user accounts is one of the fearures being advertised.
    Marking as resolved, but feel free to add to this thread if you find a solution.

    Right. Thanks for jumping in, Ronald….

    The idea behind this plugin is that it is as light weight and simple as possible. To create (yet another) social login plugin would defeat the purpose. There are already too many of them in the repo… and last I checked more than one of them seemed to work pretty well at what they aim to do.

    And I should make clear what makes Postmatic Social Commenting different: we don’t create user accounts, we don’t let people log in. We simply grab profile data from one of four social networks to keep the commenter from having to type it all in.

    Terence, I don’t see why you couldn’t run it side-by-side with WordPress Social Login. Just tell WPSL to stay away from your comment form. Should be totally possible.
