  • Hello @idalodz,

    Thanks for contacting us!

Though, you can set up an email notification using our guide here, when you get a chance, could you please share more details, or possibly an example of what you’re looking to do when you say notification from a client email address?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    I read it.
    And you are writting:

    “From Email
By default, your forms will set the From Email to the {admin_email}”

Is it possible to change this to email of person who filled form?

When I reply to it I would have all inormation from the form in one email’s conversation with my client.

    Hey @idalodz,

You can certainly set up your form notification settings to reply to the person who filled out the form.

To do this, you can add what we call a field Smart Tag that corresponds to the form Email field to the Reply-To field. The field Smart Tag will pull the information from the Email field into the Reply-To field when the form is submitted. Here’s a quick screencast to demonstrate how you can set this up.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi,

    It’s a geat news!
    But I’ve allready got “{field_id=”1″}” in Reply-To.
And emails comes to me from my email addres.

People put their email addres in the second form field.
So I changed it from “{field_id=”1″}” to “{field_id=”2″}”, but emails comes to me from my email addres. Not from email addresm, which they put to second form field.

    I’ve just tested.

    Hey @idalodz,

    Thanks for the update!

For better email deliverability, we recommend that you use a single email address that you own as the “From” email address of your notification settings.

This is because when email addresses are used as the “From” emails outside of their domain (e.g. Gmail, Outlook), these emails are often blocked or marked as spam by email filters.

If you’d like to be able to identify the notification emails easily, you could consider using field Smart Tags to pull field information into the Subject field in the notification settings. In case it helps, here’s a quick screencast on how you can add Smart Tags to the subject field.

    Hope this helps!
