Thanks, I’ve changed how the templates load to try and cater for 2.6 release which changes the way they work.

Can you go to

dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>forum Templates, and look at Template priority. This may also affect this area.

Can you try the suggested numbers,a dn come back and report if any fix the issue

4.2.6 sets the priority to 5, can you confirm that setting it to this does not work ?

ok, I load a template to get this to happen, and it is loading in your staging site, but not your live site.

If it doesn’t load with 5, I’m a bit stumped, that is the only difference between the two versions. Can you try live with 4.2.6?

Very odd, Robin. I installed 4.2.6 on my live site, and the <p> tag is still empty. I have no idea what could be different between the staging site to the live site to create this difference.

4.2.4 is the version before I altered how the templates worked. might be worth trying that on the staging to see if that works.

Otherwise I suspect that another plugin or a theme is loading the template after mine.
