Hello, I’m using your great plugin not to create a job board website but to accomplish this very simple workflow.

    1. An unregistered user submits the form
    2. Already registered users with candidate role (manually registered by admin) receive an email notification that a “job” has been submitted (every submission is right for every candidate registered)
    3. Now each candidate has received a notification, and the first to accept it will “take the job”, preventing the others to do the same. Ideally this will be done via a link included in the notification email.

Is this a standard workflow to create with WP Job Manager. If not or partially, can you please help me out indicating me the right add-ons I should use.

Thank you for clarifying this to me!

    Hi @ilwoody ,

This is not a standard workflow in WPJM, I’m afraid. It would likely require custom coding to notify every candidate of every job submitted, and for the first person to reply to mark that job filled.

You may be able to modify the Job Alerts addon for the notification piece, but it would likely require custom coding as well: https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/job-alerts/

However, we aren’t able to help with custom code requests like this, so if you need assistance, you may want to look into one of these services:

Thank you for your reply. But how will freelancers get notified with no email? Should they visit job listing page all the time?

Isn’t this a standard workflow for freenlancer to be notified when a right job for them has been publish?
