    I installed Better Notifications For WordPress (latest version) on the latest version of WordPress.
    Adfter adding a notifications and sending an HTML e-mail. The e-mail arrives with a lot of extra BR and P tags.

    How to reproduce:
    – I created a notification for ‘Forget Password – For User’ and set the type to: “HTML”. I checked the box below to ‘Stop additional paragraph and line break’.
    – I switched the textEditor (default WordPress) to TEXT.
    – Then I copy/paste a whole HTML mail (straight from Notepad++)
    (I even tried in Notepad to convert first to:
    to Unix style
    to Windows style
    tried to convert to ANSI
    tried to convert to UTF8 with BOM and without BOM

    None did work.

    Hi @roeller,
    Thanks for your message.

    It sounds like a possible theme or plugin conflict acting on the_content. Please can you make your way through this document and let me know how you get on?

    Thanks,
    Jack
