Are you able to post a link to a full page screenshot of the notification you’re using so I can see how it’s set up?
Have you tried sending it to just yourself for now to see if you can get it to work?
For the email log: are you able to install and activate the Post SMTP plugin so that you can see if the notifications are being sent out but not being received for some reason? You don’t have to set-up anything, just installing and activating it should be enough. The email log will be shown in Post SMTP > Email Log on the sidebar of the WordPress Admin.
To clarify what I mean by ‘trigger’: In order for a notification to be sent, something has to happen. In your case, it’s when someone posts a comment but my question is: how are they posting a comment? Is it via the default WordPress comment form that appears below a post, via another plugin, or another method?
