Notifications for Specific Product Category

    For my products, I need an email notification sent for some Exclusive items that will be processed differently than my other products. Those products will be send to a 3rd party vendor for processing and shipment. How can I set up this email notification for this category when an order is complete? Please note that I am new to creating a website and setting up Woo, so step by step guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

    Now, before recommending anything, I’d like to understand your goal better.

    I understand you have special products that will be processed through a third-party vendor.

    But the special email notification you mentioned, do you need it to be sent to the customer, to you or to the third-party vendor? Or maybe to all three?

    The reason I’m asking is because our recommendation might vary depending on your goal.

    Thanks for the quick message @carolm29. I need a message to go to the customer letting them know that their order was submitted and a separate email will be sent to our business email with the order information. We will then fill the order and ship it to the customer.

    To set up an email notification for specific products, you can use the AutomateWoo plugin. This plugin allows you to set up a different email notification for selected product orders to be sent to any email address, including your 3rd party vendor.
