Notification when a custom post type is created

    I have a custom post type of ‘venue’ and use an ACF form to let end users create and submit their own venues. Upon submission, ACF saves it as a ‘draft’ in the backend. I would like to trigger a notification when this happens, but the closest notification setting is for ‘pending review’ or ‘update’. Is there a hook or something I could use to trigger when the post is created?

    Thanks for your message.

    Unfortunately not, as so many different plugins publish to draft status, it would trigger unwanted notifications. The best I can suggest is using the Pending Review as you’ve already highlighted.
