Notification tab and email notification

I tested this plugin and I don’t seem to see this plugin works with the BP Notification tab neither does it send the private message recipient an email whenever a private message is created. The plugin does create a popup notification button at the right lower corner with sound effect, which is really neat. But the user would have to be logged-in to know there’s a new PM for them. I can’t find any settings for this plugin so I’m guessing this is what this plugin can do.

My two cents is if you can still have new message reflect in the BP Notification tab (the number) plus sending an email to notify about the new PM, that would be better.

Another even cooler feature is if you can make available to admin the option of restricting access to this PM button separated from BP, and allow admin to determine which user role, or whatever method you’ll choose, to have access to this PM button, that would be a great feature. In other words, Admin can decide which groups of users can send PM, which others cannot.
