Notification Message Parameters

  • In the Notification message sent to someone when they sign up as an affiliate there are parameters that display information such as the Referral Link, Username, password, etc. as shown below:
    Username: {affusername}
    Password: {affpassword}
    Login Url: {affloginurl}

    I have somehow deleted the parameter for the Referral Link or Your Link and am wondering what it is along with what other available parameters are available to use in the notification messages.

    Hi, Which template are you referring to (Affiliates->Settings->Messaging)? Do you have the “Automatically approve a new affiliate” option enabled in the General settings?

    That is correct, the template is Affiliates->Settings->Messaging.
    Automatically Approve new Affiliate is enabled and the message I am attempting to modify is affiliate_application_approved_email.

    By default the message is set to the following:

    New affiliate registration for {blogname}: has been approved!

    Username: {affusername}
    Password: {affpassword}
    Login URL: {affloginurl}
