notification mail shows html source code??

  • Using version 240119.

    Email notification shows html code to the user.. looking terrible. What could be the problem?

    It’s not usable for normal users…

    Still having this problem. No idea at all??

    Already tried to re-save the mailtexts a few times, no change.

    Also new subscribers do not get a double opt in mail notification at all….

    PS: we are using Easy WP SMTP plugin for sending mails.

    Hi,

    Looks like the email is being sent out as being a raw text file instead of HTML.

    Do you have that issue with other emails? Easy WP SMTP has a “email test” tool in WP admin > Easy WP SMTP > Tools. When you do a test does it look normal?
