• Hello,

Just finished setting up a blog for a client. I have set it up so that in Admin > Settings > General the email specified is my client’s email address.

There are 2 User profiles set up. One for me with is Administrator and the other for my client, which is also administrator.

I handed the site over to the client, and she wanted me to keep Admin status along with her in case she needs me to do updates.

I am finding that I am getting notified of comments, but I would really not like to get these. Is there a way for only her to get the notifications?

What I find odd is that the email specified in the General settings is one that goes only to my client. My email address in my user profile is a different email address, so why am I getting comment notifications?

Any help would be very apprecaited.

    Thanks!

Sorry to bump this, but does anyone have an idea as to why 2 emails are sent?

Whose email is in the administrator field in the Settings> General of your WordPress install?

Change the email address in your profile, and see if they still arrive.

If the emails stop then it’s definately going by your profile email, if not then it’s a setting elsewhere.

In any case, that narrows down the problem.
