    Under the Additional Email Fields heading, when you check the box for ‘Set “From” Name & Email, CC, BCC”, can you take the Author Display Name: [display_name] shortcode and have it set to be the “From” name on the notification email instead of the site name or admin name? Also, can you set the “From” email to use the Author User Email: [user_email] shortcode as well?

    What I’m trying to do is whenever a post/page is submitted by any author as Pending Review, the notification email that is sent will have the From Name and Email be from the author that is submitting the post/page for review, and NOT from the site or site admin. Is there another way to achieve this?

    Thanks for your message.

    This most likely will result in either emails failing to be sent or an increase in the amount of SPAM false positives. The reason for this is that email that is being sent from your domain should be sent from your domain or a domain that has been authorised to send email on your domains behalf. If this isn’t the case, these two issues can occur.
