    Hi RScavetta,

glad to here you like my plugin! So sad, that notificaton e-mail is not sent, I will look to find out.

The notification e-mails are sent by php, so my first question is, if there is a problem in php setup? On which system is your site running? Own server? Professional hoster? Do you receive an error message?

I will check by myself this week, if I can do anything to help you!

    Best regards
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for your help.

My site is hosted on Bluehost.com and I have already encountered conflicts with emailing from wordpress when the from field doesn’t match a registered email address at my domain name. I have tried to change the from field to match an existing email but it doesn’t seem to work. I would be happy if you can tell me how I can manually change the plug in to set a fixed from address. I’m not familiar with php, but I can change code and variables. That may get around the security issues with my hosting service.

    All the best,
    Rick

    Hi Rick,

I understand … Ok, I don’t think that coding in plugin is a solution, because the changes will be overwritten by next plugin update, and I think you will not miss next great features?

The other point is, that not only admin shall receive notification mails, the users also, if you write them a message, so we have to find another solution, because a fix E-Mail won’t work that way.

I surfed on Google about your problem, did you already tried a SMTP plugin? I found this one: Easy WP SMTP, but there are a few others you can try, just install configure and try. Let me know, if you already did, or if my proposal helped you.

    Best regards

Any news? I have one more idea, did you set your bluehost e-mail in the WordPress settings section?

Because my plugin takes the user email as from field, so this could work for you, pls try and let me know ??

    Best regards

I am having this same problem. I have installed Postman SMTP plugin and tested connectivity successfully. My email address is in the settings of this plugin. Any other suggestions?
