    Hi,

I run Postie succesfully and it is amazing. I know want to use it on a second installation and new users have to be introrduced to it.

Again I notice that those guys post emails with 10+ attachments each often bigger than 1MB up to 3MB. This results in a memory issue on our server. The post is existing with “tmptitle” and some images have been uploaded but of course body and gallery are missing as it produced an error.

    Would it be possible to:

    A) send a warning mail to the admin and/or a defined email containing information that something failed (or even better) what error happend

    B) send a predefined mail to the sender informing him that there was an error and what he van do to fix this (e.g. reduce the number of files and/or filesizes).

Currently the error just doesnt get noticed and the sender noone is aware that something is wrong.

I would be happy to pay for this feature btw! ??

    Thanks for any input Sascha

I glad Postie work well for you most of the time.

I have an upcoming enhancement that should help with memory issues.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much I can do when PHP runs out of memory because at that point Postie no longer has any say in what happens next.

Sounds great. Maybe one could go around the phone limitations by checking if there is a post with tmptitle present and act on that?! Just another idea. I’m looking forward to your enhancement. Thanks for all your work. Sascha
