As I almost never start a forum thread, I forgot to select my WordPress version. I’m using WordPress 3.5.1.

    Hi Stefan!

    Thanks for the headsup.

Which version of MarketPress are you using, and are you using the Lite version or the full package?

If you can give us an example of the errors you’re getting we can take a look at them.

I’m using MarketPress Lite version 2.5.1. You should be able to see the errors for yourself when you enable WordPress debug mode, but here they are anyways:

As I only needed to check compatability, I haven’t set any settings yet. These errors show across the entire website, including all pages of the WordPress admin.

Hello there Stefan, I hope you’re well today!

These are simple notices, nothing to worry about. In order to maintain compatibility with many versions of PHP and many versions of WordPress, some of these notices are unavoidable.
Do they cause any actual problems in your installations? (besides the fact that they appear).

    Please advise,
    Ari.

    Hi Ari,

    Thanks for your response.

No, they don’t cause any problems during installation. However, everytime PHP throws another notice, the website is slowed down. Besides that, no developer enjoys scrolling past 14 notices.

The PHP ‘isset()‘ function has been around since PHP 4. I bet the ‘undefined index’ notices could be solved without losing any user’s compatibility.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

I have notified the plugin developer about this issue, hopefully they will be resolved in the next plugin update.

    Cheers,
    Ari.

    Hi Ari,

Thank you very much for your time and effort. I’ll look out for the update.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Just an update on this one:
The plugin developer had these fixed before I even talked to him… An update is coming soon, it’s just a matter of polishing up some things. ??

    Cheers,
    Ari.
