I just installed Omnisearch on my local site. When I activate it I get this notice message below, at each access time to any page. When it’s inactivated the message disappear.

Notice: wp_style_is was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in …. \wp-includes\functions.php on line 3049

  • It’s probably a conflict with some other plugin.

    I need more information:

    • What is Your WordPress version?
    • Does the message appear in admin area, or in the live site?
    • What other plugins do you have activated?

    The version is: 3.8.2
The message appear in both admin and live site, and as logged in or not.
The other active plugins are: Flexible Post Widget, Link Manager, Who Hit the Page – Hit Counter, and WordPress Database Backup.

After updating Jetpack Omnisearch to version 2.9.3 the message still appear.

    Fixed! I’ll update shortly.

It was not a conflict, but a mistake of mine. The message didn’t appear to me because I haven’t turned the WP_DEBUG flag on until now!

    Thank you Per Alm.

I’ve just updated the plugin, but without changing the version number. I don’t want to confuse users of Jetpack Omnisearch (version number must be the same as the original Jetpack version number).

Please download and reinstall to apply the fix.
