    Hello!

This warning appeared after updating the Ajax Search Lite plugin to version 4.12:

Notice: wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.8.0.) in …\wp-includes\functions.php on line 6078

The alert appears when I try to access the widgets.

What to do to solve the error?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Thank you very much, I was able to replicate the issue on the widget editor screen with the twenty twenty one theme.

It looks like it’s a minor dependency conflict, luckily it doesn ot cause issues. You can ignore this notice for now as it seems like the core itself resolves the problem and only notifies via this message that the enqueue should not have the “wp-editor” dependency.

I will make sure to resolve it within the upcoming release.

    All the best,
    Ernest
