How was this resolved? I am experiencing the same problem. The forms seem to be saving but I still get these error messages.

Also, when hitting submit, nothing happens, the fields stay filled and there is no confirmation that the email is being sent .

I installed wp smtp mail Plugin to solve that problem and That doesn’t seem to work either.

adding to this, the forms just seem to be dead, when you click on the submit button, nothing happens, dead silence

Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, WordPress Importer, and WP Mail SMTP.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

After switching the theme off, It worked. Although this theme came with your plugin, not sure why it wouldn’t work
