I did a restore of my website after updating plugins and I needed to restore my website to prior of the update of plugins and then my website got a fatal error that says:

Notice: iconv(): Wrong charset, conversion from utf-8' tous-ascii//TRANSLIT’ is not allowed in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor/inc/RationalOptionPages.php on line 609

Godaddy has told me this is an issue with the ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor plugin. Any idea how I can fix this? I can’t even log into my wp-admin.

    Please help!!

Buddy, that file doesn’t even exist inside the “ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor” plugin folder!!! What are you trying to do?

First of all, you can open “wp-content/plugins/ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor/inc” folder and check visually whether the file exists.
Second, if you use “Visual Studio Code”, from the main nav chose Go > Go to File… and then type in “RationalOptionPages.php”. That doesn’t find it either way, so there must be something very suspicious.

Besides, someone should already report that error before you, there are over 40k people who gave a shot to this plugin.

I’m not trying to do anything and I wasn’t trying to insult your plugin. I like your plugin.

But that was the error I was getting after I did a restore through Godaddy backups. Godaddy said the plugin was causing the error and keeping my website from showing up. So we disabled the plugin to get my website to load properly and they suggested I contact the plugin developer.

I still have the plugin disabled so my website will load properly. I did just go to the “wp-content/plugins/ooohboi-steroids-for-elementor/inc” folder and I see RationalOptionPages.php. Not sure how that file got in there from the Godaddy restore, maybe a coincidental hack?

Should I delete that file to get the plugin to work again? Or should I delete the plugin and reinstall? I want to be able to use the plugin, as I said I really like it.
