Nothing’s Loading

  • I searched the forum before posting for any possible advice on my problem. WP has been running fine for months on my site (www.jiglet.net) and yesterday I made a post, and then the page was blank, and none of the admin pages will load either. I checked the web server error logs, nothing there. Anyone have any idea what might cause this?

  • Did you change anything? Like perhaps the URI values for blog location at Options -> General?

    nope, definitely not, i just made a post. i think i might have gone into the plugins section and clicked ‘activate’ on a plugin but i’m not sure – could this have caused it? and regardless of what caused it, is it fixable, as in can i restore all my old posts, layout, etc (was all done in WP) or do i have to restart from scratch?

    Do you recall what plugin it was that you activated?

    If so, just FTP to your website and delete that plugin file from /wp-content/plugins and see if that fixes things.
