It appears that you have to enter a limit into the limit field (under the Delete By Post type section towards the bottom – “Set the limit over post delete. “) for php >=8.0.1. You don’t have to enter a number in for php 7.4.16. It’s not immediately clear. and caused us to spend a bit of time trying to trouble shoot the issue when we had 2 different environments on 2 different versions of php. If empty should it allow to delete all? if so, This should be fixed for php version > 7.4.16.

    Hello @twl28,

Thank you for reaching out to us, and Thank you for reporting the bug.

If you’re using a PHP version lower than PHP 8 and you haven’t added a value to the limit field, the plugin will delete all the posts you’ve selected (if there are too many posts, the plugin will delete as many posts as the website server can handle). And if you are using PHP 8 or more PHP versions then you need to add value in the limit field. The plugin will not remove any post without adding a limit.

We will add the delete post feature without a set limit in PHP 8 in a future version of the plugin.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Xylus Themes
