Nothing shows on the edit page

    About every 6 months, I go to edit a page and when I open the editor and click on the text tab, I see nothing. But when I move the mouse around, I can tell that the code is there, it just does not show. This problem seems to come up randomly.

    The solution is to fix it by brute force. I select all the invisible code and copy it. Then paste it into a new page. And all works as it should. I can then swap the new page for the old one. So, the problem is solved.

    But the anal professor in me wants to know the origin of the problem. Any ideas? There was a thread a couple of years ago related to this and the solution offered had something to do with color settings. I do not think that is the issue here.

    btw-Some of my pages are huge with hundreds of high-res images. It occurred to me that I may be pushing what WP can handle?

    I’m unsure right now which PageBuilder or Editor you’re referring to. Are you using the classic editor? It has a text tab.

    Could you deactivate all plugins for a test? Maybe one of these is interfering here.
