Nothing pops up with email submission

    I have the “subscribe to our newsletter” as an option at the bottom of most pages on my site. My mailchimp account is set up and works, email addresses are added to the mailing list, however the web user does not get any pop up or indication they’ve successfully signed up for anything. I thought i had everything configured right in wordpress… what am i missing?

    Hello,

    Please note that there is no pop-up feature in our plugin. When a user subscribes using the form, they will see a success/error message below the form as displayed in the screenshot at https://www.dropbox.com/s/3cb11gt00l2pz0z/Screenshot%202018-05-23%2016.15.42.png?dl=0.

    Hi,

    The response is there, but your theme sets the text color to white, on a white background.
    TO solve that either ask your theme for support or over-over-write their CSS with this:

    .mc4wp-response { color: black !important; }

    You can add this code trough a plugin like Simple Custom CSS or maybe your theme already offers a way to add extra css via something like Appearance > … > Edit CSS.
