no problem, it maybe your plugin but as it works with 1.4 of pagebuilder it may be with Greg’s!

I actually have no idea why the plugin is not working with Siteorigin Page Builder, I asked the author but I never got his reply.

Maybe someone know what is the problem?

FYI, last time I tried Siteorigin Page Builder with this plugin, it won’t appear because it uses category__in and tag__in, if I removed it, the posts appeared.

so where do i need to remove these to test if this is the problem?

I have not coded in PHP or wordpress before but I have coded in C# before so have some knowledge!

Please update to 0.9.4, It should fix the conflict with the Page Builder plugin

An idea for a future release, if no feature image on page option to use first image on page as thumbnail.

Thank you for the suggestion, however I’m not sure its what I’m looking for and it seems the documentation is only open to members!

I have tried a number of plugins that let you set the featured image, some from the first image, however all of them thus far take the selected image and actually make it the featured image meaning it appears large and proud at the top of my post as well as where it is supposed to be!

In some of the other Recent post plugins they do it but I don’t like the resulting layouts e.g.

The thumbnails will be built from the featured image of a post or of the first image in the post content. If there is neither a featured image nor a content image then you can define a default thumbnail.

Hmm.. I actually can include a code to check first attachment if no featured image exist. But, I need more time to test it.

But, I still recommend you to use Get The Image plugin, you don’t need to setup anything, just install and it will connected with RPWE plugin ??

thought I would try get the image as I guess you are busy… However it gets the images but on my iPad they are all loaded at the top of the page and not next to the posts
