@hegtavictech We’d first recommend checking the page’s source code to see whether the meta description is that is being output by the plugin is updated. Can you give us an example page of one of those you aren’t seeing the meta description updated on?

Also, whereas Google typically uses the meta description from the metadata for indexing, this is not always the case. Google will sometimes modify or ignore the meta description when it sees fit. This is not due to the plugin not functioning as expected, but rather is due to Google using another value for the meta description it indexes as it’s algorithm has concluded that there is a better version to index.

If Google is ignoring the meta description you have created for a page and creating it’s own description based off the page’s content, we would recommend creating a new meta description that reflect’s the page’s content. Yes, brother, I have just inspected the page and there are many meta tags but i have seen the new one meta description there not the older one the one which is quoted below. But now i dont get the idea why it isnt changed whereas,
example is [ redundant link removed ] this link is of home page. My current meta description using yoast seo is “HEGTAVIC tech provides ultimate solutions to any of your IT problems, rather it requires full-stack skills or digital marketing, under one software house.”
Whereas if you only type “hegtavic” in google search you will see the changed meta description and that one is older one.

Thanks for your confirmation. We looked at your website and can confirm that Yoast SEO is generating the meta description correctly. However, you won’t see the updated meta description immediately in the search results. You’ll need to wait until Google recrawls the relevant page on your site.

On the other hand, you may not see the updated meta description in the Google search results for specific search terms as well as Google often modifies the SEO data in the search results. Unfortunately, no one has enough control to stop this. You can find more information about this here.

Thankyou very much brother, I got it, that google needs time to recrawl the site to check up and update the meta description.
Secondly I have a last Question kindly need help with that too if you can. That is when you write “Hegtavic” in google and the results shows the categories too below the home page as
“uncategorized” “Graphic designing”
“Services” “Software development”

So what i wanted to know is basically can we change these categories showing using yoast seo ? as i want to replace these ones with different pages of the site

We are afraid to say that no one has any control over what Google shows in the Sitelinks. Google shows the most visited pages under the Sitelinks in the search results.

You could signal to Google which links you want to appear by using the following actions:
– Provide a clear structure for your website, using relevant internal links and anchor text that’s informative, compact, and avoids repetition.
– Allow Google to crawl and index important pages within your site. Use Inspect any URL?to check that they can be rendered properly.
– Consider using?noindex?to remove pages you do not want to be found in a search.
– Be sure to then resubmit your sitemap to Google as it will encourage Google to reindex your site and update its index.
– You may also wish to contact Google for more information on how they decide which links appear. You can contact Google by making a post on their forums – https://productforums.google.com/forum/?rd=1#!forum/webmasters
