HI so one of my customers would get an email reminding them about their cart but there’s nothing in their cart, how can i fix that. Also an email in the subject says this: you cart have not checked out. This is not proper english how can I fix this? Just to clarify if I put 100 min to abandon cart that means they won’t get and email until they have abandoned their cart for 100 min right? then they will get the first templete email and so on with the next. What’s the difference between general and email tab in how long it will take to email them. I just don’t want things to be sent to same customer 2xs. thanks

  • Hi @jayahs
    Thank you for contacting VillaTheme.

    1. I rechecked on my site, click on the checkout now button, it redirects to the checkout page of that order normally.
    2. You can edit the subject of abandoned email templates in the Email template/ edit email/ Subject https://prnt.sc/sehklt
    3. In the general tab: Time is set to capture an order/cart as abandoned since the customer left his email.
In the Email tab: Time is set after a specific time set, the plugin will send abandoned mail to the customer.

I want to change the “you cart have not checkout” in the subject line in the email but on the checkout cart template it doesn’t have it. Also what url checkout button? on my website?

    Hi @jayahs

You can change the subject of the abandoned email in the editing email template/ change subject content in the subject field https://prnt.sc/sgkq9e

You said that “one of my customers would get an email reminding them about their cart but there’s nothing in their cart” so can you provide the URL of the checkout button to check this situation, this image will clarify what I mean: https://prnt.sc/sgkv2p

Hi, thx for the pic, it’s soo helpful. Yes, I know exactly where the template to change the subject field however, there are 3 templates but they all say exactly the same thing. Out of those 3 templates none of them says “you cart etc..” I want to find that one so I can change it. I took a snap shot but I noticed u can’t attach anything here. I will email u the checkout button later when I’m on my laptop. Thx soo much!!

Also on the bottom of the email the grammar is not correct English. It says “If you don’t want receive reminder email. You can unsubscribe here”

    Hi @jayahs

Thank you, we will check it and let you know soon. Please kindly wait.

Also it keeps emailing me saying there’s something in my cart when there’s nothing in my cart. It does this to my friend too who bought from me.

    Hi @jayahs

Can you please test again with WooCommerce and our plugin. I reexamine in the current version 1.0.2.8, it still reflects the abandoned cart and redirects to the checkout page.

    Best regards.

In checkout button url has unexpected symbol. We will update to fix this issue. Thanks
