nothing in my wordpress dashboard is clickable

so as of tonight (3/5/18), half of my wordpress dashboard became unclickable. in this screenshot, for instance, nothing can be clicked: https://twitter.com/benzaehringer/status/970910433354817536 as in, I click these things, and nothing happens.

I have tried multiple browsers, multiple devices. most advice I’ve found online says I need to click the screen options dropdown…but I can’t click it. nothing happens when I click it! the clickable has become unclickable.

please help!
