Nothing happens with new file

    Thanks for developing this plugin, I just started trying it out. Doing a batch rename on existing files works fine but nothing happens to new files I upload, even though I’ve enabled “Rename on save” in the settings (and de-activated “Rename GUID” that was enabled by default).

    I tried by:
    1. Create draft post
    2. Upload image
    3. Before inserting image in post, changing Title, alt text and caption (no special characters)
    4. Save draft post

    Expected result is that image name is changed but nothing happens to it.

    Would you please help me troubleshoot this or have I misunderstood how the plugin works?

    Hello,

    Yes, you need to enable the options “Update on Save” for that to happen. Images are normally renamed for the Image editor coming from the Media Library. Directly in the post is a bit more dangerous and therefore I added an option to do it… optionally ??

    From what file to what file are you trying to rename? What is your filename and what is the title of this media? I need more information, the plugin works so I need to know more about your install and about your file and media.
