Nothing happens when click on Pay NOw

Hi @coffeyrd. It sounds like some orders go through without problems using PayPal Checkout while some do not. Please share your system report with me. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.

Also, when the issue occurs, could you please check for errors in the browser console? I tried to visit your site’s checkout to take a look but got an error:

Thanks so much for your response. Below is my status report. I’m not sure why you received a timeout error when accessing the site. We have had several orders go through today.

I haven’t been able to recreate the error, which makes it even more frustrating. When I have gone through the checkout process, I have had the Console open to check for errors, but so far, I haven’t seen any.

I got an error to show up in Chrome just now!

If I click on Paypal, the paypal box shows up for me, but this error was visible in the console:

“A boolean is being passed as a fourth parameter to window.open. This is not used and may cause an exception in a future release.”

If I click on Debit/Credit card, the error did not show up.

Hi @coffeyrd – thanks for the update. I just went through the site and I can see the same error in the console that you mentioned, however, it does seem that the PayPal form itself works as expected as I was able to fill in my information successfully.

Looking through the information that you added, the error seems to be one-off error on the customer’s side but if you would like to do a bit more testing to confirm that your setup is working as expected, I would recommend:

* You can try placing the order on the site through PayPal to confirm that the error that you are seeing in the console is not interfering with your checkout process with PayPal. If you would like to make tests without passing actual funds, you can use the sandbox mode in PayPal like so: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-express-checkout/#section-19

* Another method to determine where the error might be coming from is to run a conflict test on the site as it might as well be coming from another plugin on the site or your theme interfering with PayPal but not affecting the actual transaction flow.
