    The admin settings page just reloads and asks for the API Key again. I have completely uninstalled and deleted the plugin and reinstalled it and I get the same behavior every time. I copy the API from Mailchip admin and paste it into the plugin’s settings, click SAVE and the page reloads and says “settings saved” but they really aren’t.

    Hi @acpaulley, we’re happy to help. Just to get a handle on the situation you’re experiencing, could you provide a few more pieces of information to help us understand the issue?

    – What plugin version are you running?
    – Is your site self-hosted, or is it a wordpress.com business account?
    – If it’s self-hosted, who is your hosting provider?
    – Do you have any caching plugins or services running?

    Hi I have the same issue, when pasting my API key and pressing save nothing happens. Checked on Mail Chimp and there is no API request
    Wordpress version 4.9.8
    Mail chimp plugin Version 2.1.9

    Hi @lyonsdavid, do you have any caching plugins or services running?

    I don’t have any caching plugins that Im aware but can’t say for sure as I have bought a theme which came bundled with some plugins.

    Thanks, @lyonsdavid, we’ll do some research on your host to see if there may be any potential conflicts.

    Same issue – don’t have caching. Also, my plugin keeps unsyncing. Its working fine, then every so often it disconnects from my MailChimp and asks for API again (set up screen). Then when I try and do it, the thing will just revert back to original page asking for API key again. Site hosted by 1&1 – blaming hosting providers again.

    I then have to deactivate, uninstall then reinstall again for it to work – waiting for when it will disconnect again………

    Now it isn’t working at all. Probably why the third-party MailChimp plugins have 10x more installs and twice the rating stars..

    @stormdart if you would like – please reach out to me directly at [email protected] and I will take a look into your account for you. If you could set up a temporary wordpress admin user for me that would be very helpful and probably save a lot of back and forth on mail.

    hello i am also having the exact issue with it… just yesterday setting up wordpress Version 4.9.8 and installed woocommerce and also instaled mailchimp that included when running woocommerce setup wizard…

    now when i paste the api keys to there and click save all changes button the page just refresh itself and nothing happen

    Hi @tepid17, thanks for reaching out. We were able to diagnose with @stormdart that their problem went away after retrying the install again.

    To provide more context, some shared hosts (with alternating IP addresses) can have issues communicating through the MailChimp firewall – intermittently or even permanently. This can be caused by websites on the same shared server cluster being flagged as problematic by MailChimp.

    The most optimal setup is to have a dedicated IP address for your website, but we realize that’s not always an option. For now, please try to reinstall the plugin and see if that yields a better outcome.

    Hi @khungate, i already solve it by uninstalling the plugin from woocommerce mailchimp and use the plugin in this site instead..

    Hello, i have de same issue. I’m working at the moment in a localhost instance of wordpress, until i had everything set. But when i paste my api key, nothing happens.
