    Installed and activated plugin and nothing happened. The next/previous links were not added.

    Of course nothing happened. The installation instructions clearly state that you must edit your template files in order to complete the setup. If you need help editing the templates, you should either ask the developer of whatever theme you are using, or try posting your question on the “Themes and Templates” section of the www.remarpro.com support forum.
