"Nothing Found" or 404 error page appears, not the one I created

  • I installed WordPress locally and created a single page, plus a contact form (using contact form 7). I transferred my local WP installation to a hosting account (into which I already installed WP using the hosting provider’s installation procedure), using the WP All-In-On-Migration plugin. The transfer was reported to me as successful.

    I can see my webpage in the Pages area in the backend of my site and the contact form in the Contact plugin area.

    But when I type the URL for my domain, I get a “Nothing Found” page.
    If I put www. before my domain name, I get a 404 error.

    I forget to mention that I have removed the hosting account WP installation and transferred the site 3-4 times, but the problem remains.
