Nothing displaying on main calendar page

    Hi

    I have downloaded and installed the free version of event calendar. I have created 3 events and these seem to display fine. I have published them and can access them via my Word Press editor. However, nothing is displaying on the main calendar page. It is blank.

    When I click on the View Calendar link at the top of the page in the Events menu, it takes me to the (I assume) correct url which is https://barksandsqueaks.com/events/ but no events are listed. The same happens when you link back from an individual event by clicking ‘All Events’. Apart from my default header and menus etc, the page is blank.

    Also – it is displaying this page outside of the Word Press editor, so I have to use the back button to get back into Word Press. I have tried each of the Default stylesheet used for events templates and each of the Events templates but it doesn’t make any difference. Should the events page be listed with my pages or my posts? I can’t see it anywhere so can’t do anything to edit it.

    I had a reply on another forum I posted on (then realised it was the wrong forum). They suggested changing the slug for the main events page to calendar. I did this but it didn’t work. The only other suggestion I’ve had is to change to a different theme but I don’t really want to do that as I have worked for ages on the look of my website and I don’t want to change the theme just to accommodate an events page. Anyway – they are a couple of things you might want to try. Hope you have better luck than me!

    I am almost at the point of giving up and trying different plug in. I’m just glad I didn’t buy the pro – version. I’d be gutted to have spent all that money only to find it doesn’t work with my theme!
