Nothing changes when I use Advanced Image Styles.

Same here. Can’t see any new options at all.

The difference is that the following inputfields are added in appearance details, under advanced, when you edit the photo (clicking on the pencil):
Image Border: Width / Color
Image Margins: Top / Bottom / Left / Right

You can know by deactivating /activating he plugin.

One other thing, I use a plugin called “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” to add Visual Editing in widget areas.

When clicking on images in there, the extra styles don’t appear. Usually the plugin replicates everything that works in the standard page/post editor.

Possible to get it working with this too?

I use that plugin also. In the visual editor widget the extra styles appear the same way.

Hmm definitely doesn’t work for me here.

Page/post editor works, but the Widget page doesn’t. I’ve tried refreshing and using a different browser with cookies cleared.

It just shows the standard Image Details window.

You are right. I was trying in a widget area from Page Builder (plugin) on a page, then it works the same way.
On a widget page it doesn’t.

Doesn’t work for me either, this is insane I can’t believe they removed the advanced image settings. This is a deal breaker and 3.9 should have never released. I’d love to hear an explanation why we are headed backward in WP development!
