    Hi,

I’m a new user on Glossary (Pro) and I have two (basic?) questions:

1- some words for which I created Notes just don’t highlight in the text of my website
(e.g. on this page https://cymbalum-mundi.com/lettre/ I’ve created notes for the words “Beaune”, “Phalerne” and “Gonin” but they don’t highlight or link to the tooltip. As you can see, other notes on other words work perfectly well. What could be the problem?

2- All the highlighted words are surrounded by spaces that create gaps between words. I tried checking the “Remove padding from terms on front-end” in the Settings but it doesn’t change anything. Is there a way to remove the extra spaces generated on both sides of the glossary terms in the body of the text?

    Thank you for your help!

  • Hi,
    1) probably because they are wrapped with ? and our plugin ignore text inside wrappers
    2) there is some css not added by us that create this space, the selector .glossary-tooltip that add a padding.

Ah! yes indeed, if take the (French) brackets away, the words link to the notes!
    Thank you very much!

And I’ll check with my Web developer for the css that creates the extra space around the words.

I really like your glossary plug-in (BTW, will it work ok when I upgrade to the new version of WP Gutenberg? I’ve been told to wait before upgrading, since there are a lot of bugs still.)

    Grazie mille!

Our plugin right now works with Gutenberg with the blocks avalaible right now but we cannot ensure if in the future there will be more problems.
Anyway we are checking that ??
