• This might be a bit long BUT IT IS IMPORTANT.

Tutor LMS is doing a great job. I love the fact that it has most of the basic features one needs to get started. I also appreciate the fact that the Tutor LMS team are very generous to offer a free plugin that is still feature-rich. I switched from LearnDash to TutorLMS because I don’t want to have so many plugins in a bid to achieve simple results.

I remember one of my service providers discouraging me from using TutorLMS but I insisted. Sometimes, I am faced with regrets anyways because there are basic things TUTORLMS seems to always be getting wrong. I thought these minor issues were going to be resolved in the update but no, the update is just a cosmetic makeover.

    1. TutorLMS seems to be so obsessed with putting its logo everywhere. When an unenrolled user tries to access a course, there is a TutorLMS with “access denied”. What’s the need for that logo? I usually manually change this from line 34 of the permission-denied.php but for how long will I keep doing this after every update?

    2. TutorLMS adds its logo on its email notifications coming from TutorLMS. While you can change it, there is no option to disable the logo entirely as most of us already use other means or plugins to manage our email header and footer.

    3. On the quiz section, the “fill in the gap” option has no means to put alternative answers. For example, if you add “sugar” as an answer and a student writes “Sugar”, it will make as wrong because the student used the capital letter S.

These are the few things I have noticed and I wish it can be resolved immediately.
