Note for the New Version (upper than v13.0)
-
Hi,
Thank you for using WP-Statistics.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this update may have caused and we are working hard to fix all the reported issues.
WP-Statistics v13.0.3 might not be compatible with some of the PHP versions. So if your website is using a version lower than PHP 7.3, please do not update your plugin.
If you access your WordPress Admin Panel, just deactivate the plugin, and install v12.6.13. Otherwise, you can do that through CPanel/FTP. Delete the WP Statistics folder. Then replace it with the previous version of the plugin which is v12.6.13.
To get that version, you can select and download it at the bottom of this page.
You will need to extract the file to obtain the wp-statistics folder if you are doing that via FTP. Then copy this to your wp/content/plugins folder. However, if you encounter this error:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'WP_Statistics_Updates' not found in /wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/class-wp-statistics-welcome.php:78
and you do not have any other problem with the plugin, you can ignore it. Because it belongs to our previous version and occurs once, while updating to the new version, and it doesn’t cause any problem. We do our best to resolve all the issues and release a new version as soon as possible.
Again, we are truly sorry for what happened, and thanks for reporting all the issues.
Best,
