using this on woocommerce product categories (and possibly elsewhere) totally screws up any relation that translated categories have to the original.

The fields WPML inserts into the category edit page go AWOL, so when saving that categories translation it loses any hierarchy/relation

took me about a week to find out why – seemingly randomly – relations between original and translations got screwed up

The issue is going to be with wpml and not Woocommerce.

I’ve not had any issues with CategoryTinymce and Woocommerce in the past.

As I don’t use wordpress multi-user I don’t develop or test against it.

But WPML will be the issue.

    thanks

agreed, it’s not an issue of the plugin with woocommerce it’s with wpml when using woocommerce – and perhaps other custom post types – but i haven’t investigated

(has nothing to do with a multi-user setup though ?)

anyway, i found another plugin that works just fine for me to be able to use html in category description.

just thought i’d mention this here if you ever feel the need to investigate

What was that plugin? I also need to use woocommerce with HTML enabled categories…
