Remember, there are thousands of different themes out there with all different combinations of plugins installed so you just never know. I’ve encountered plenty of plugins that don’t work well with others, however, I am not quick to throw out a bad review until I do thorough testing. The plugin authors work very hard to provide plugins like this to the community at large and they often don’t make much money on them if any. I think it is only fair if you do a lot of testing first. I try different themes with all plugins disabled and often find it is another plugin that is the problem. It is working for me very well and thousands of other people. I am running the latest version of WordPress and Buddypress with a theme purchased on theme forest and it works great with rtMedia, and other image plugins (e.g., a cover photo plugin for member profiles) I use without a hitch. If you did perform thorough testing, no worries, though, I feel one star is pretty harsh regardless.
