• Why is this a part of WordPress 5 now? There are more downloads for the classic editor than for this useless plugin. Time to say goodbye WordPress.

EDIT: FROM 3 to 1 star because it seems there is no support for this in-build plugin here. Nobody from the plugin developers answering any question from uses

    Hiya,

I understand you’re having a bit of a problematic time with the new editing experience, I do notice by your title that it’s relating to the use of a page builder.

The fine folks behind WPBakery have put out an article about this, and their builder is compatible with the new editing experience (just make sure you update!), you can read their article about it at https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/faq/does-wpbakery-page-builder-works-with-the-gutenberg/

@clorith Problem is most of the times WPBakery comes as bundled plugin in a theme and there are very low chances of getting updated version of WPBakery for everyone using it. I faced @w3arts on several sites that update to WP5 broke my website and I have to install classic editor to fix it.

Guttenberg STILL deletes your WPBakery layout and converts it to their “Blocks”. When I go to save the template to add it back to WPBakery it says the template is blank.

This is completely outrageous, as I have to rebuild everything again – with hesitation that it’s going to be deleted again!

Definitely time to say goodbye… especially considering after looking through all these threads from 6+ months ago, seeing that they’re all just being closed with no reply or help.
