• Salam n Hola..

I’ve installed NSUR in my test multisite network. I’ve got a number of WooCommerce sites in the network. They are all non related woocommerce sites – different domains altogether.

When a user who has already registered as a customer in Site A tries to create an account in Site B during checkout, he still gets the error message saying ..

“An account is already registered with your email address. Please log in.”

    Any ideas?

    Hi Kodeexii,

The plugin was actually created in the beginning for an instance of woo-commerce on a network where separate registration was required so all good so far.

However, what you are seeing is not an error it is the limitations of WordPress Networks (multi-site) that you have one user account table which covers the whole Network(s).

So when your test user tries to login to Site B WordPress with its single table for user listings already has an account against the email address of the user trying to register (from their Site A account). What WordPress is trying to say is that “Hi user you actually already exist, albeit on a different domain, on this WordPress site”. It can be a bit confusing for the user if the domain names are different and they didn’t know they are part of the same website.

    ____________

note: if the user was to log in to Site A and try to navigate to a admin type page NSUR would give automatic registration to Site B, under their Site A email address account.
