Not working with the Theme builder (Divi 4.0) ?

    Hello,
    Have you try the plugin with Divi 4.0 and the theme builder feature ?
    The lightbox was working great on images in a regular post and in a post made with the Divi builder but since i’ve updated to Divi 4.0 I’ve used the Theme builder feature to make a template for a certain type of posts and since the images in those posts just link to the image and not to the lightbox anymore.
    Is there something that can be fix ?

    He specifically updated it to only work on pages/posts that weren’t using the Divi Builder. The Theme Builder adds a new wrinkle, since you might actually want it to work on pages/posts that use the Theme Builder, which also uses the Divi Builder.

    Huh! You’ve pointed out an interesting issue. I’m curious to see how Surbma addresses this?

    Hi @marc_o,

    the plugin is tested and it is working with Divi 4.x versions.

    I see your situation, but you need to understand, that if you use Custom Body, than it means, it is a page with Divi Pagebuilder. If you use the Divi Pagebuilder, than this lightbox will not work, as it don’t need to work.

    If you set only Custom Header or Footer with the Theme Builder, the lightbox will be working.

    I wonder if it would be possible to target the post body module and load it for any images inside that, even when using Divi Builder?

    The way it is implemented now, it can not be solved. I’ll look for other solutions, but I can not promise anything.

    Hi @ericknc,

    there is no update on this particular situation. And I’m afraid there won’t be soon.

    The plugin’s original focus was that to add Divi’s own lightbox to images, that inserted in pages or posts, which were not edited with Visual Builder. When you use a Divi module, than logically it is built by Visual Builder. Even if its purpose is just to call the original content.

    I’m not saying, there is no solution for this. The code is opensource and sending fixes are welcome. If the fix is valid, I will implement it to the plugin.
