Not working with sub-subcategories

Looks like WP category base is not fully compatible with wordpress 3.5 anymore.. Hope it gets updated soon.

@wzshop You have to set only the sub category then it will work (not the primary category).

If you have the primary category “Google” and a sub category “Google Mail”, just click on “Google Mail” in the post settings and not “Google”.
