Not Working With SMTP Plugin

  • Hi,

    I am getting a strange issue when using any SMTP Plugin (WP-Mail-SMTP or Easy WP SMTP)

    The issue is when these plugins are activated i got the error

    Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.

    After Disabling the plugins it is sending messages.

    Now the Conflicting problem is i am using “Contact Form 7 – Dynamic Text Extension” plugin and i am using this code

    [dynamichidden recipient-email "CF7_get_custom_field key='email' obfuscate='on'"]

    It is working if i disable the SMTP Plugins..But the strange thing is i also have a normal contact form for my site which is working in both cases (SMTP Disable or Enable)

    Anybody suggest what is the problem behind this?

    This is not at all strange. It just means you don’t need to use SMTP?? on your particular WP install. I recommend you don’t use SMTP if you don’t need to as it can create further problems with email authentication.

    ??This gives a clear cause of your problem. You are probably better asking for further advice in that plugins support forum.
